To be involved with the radio you will have to join Newport Student Media (NSM). It’s the parent group of media operations that Radio Noize is the founding member of. Fancy Managing Your Own Radio Station?

Why not consider putting yourself forward as a station trainee/assistant manager? In October/November time the management will pick the successful candidates to become trainee/assistant managers. Over the year you will be trained in the stations operational procedures and have the responsibility of running the station whilst the main management are away. Plus as a bonus you will get to run your own station! The newly launched Radio Noize 2 channel, will be controlled by the assistant managers. This let’s you get the experience of running a real radio channel but without the full responsibility. Over the course of the year the management will guide you through the whole thing.

So if you fancy getting involved with the radio management stay tuned for announcements of the Media Committee meeting dates around the campuses and online through Twitter, Facebook and www.newportunion.com. A soon as these dates are announced just pop along to one of the committee meetings which are open to all and make your voice heard!
