National Student Survey

The NSS is now CLOSED for this year, thanks to everyone who took part for your feedback!

The National Student Survey (NSS) takes place each year for all final year undergraduate students across the UK. In response to feedback given in the 2011 survey a number of changes have been made including:

• Rolled out use of text messaging to inform students of any last-minute changes to your course and timetables
• Online booking for equipment and spaces at City Campus and longer opening hours for Photography spaces (School of Film, Photography and Digital Media)
• Introduced presentations into modules to help develop student skills (ACCA)
• Invested in further software to help student study (School of Design, Engineering, Fashion and Technology)
• Made changes to timetables to help students in paid employment (Newport Business School)
• Moved timings of placements to allow students to feel better prepared (Youth and Community Studies)
• Established an online forum via MLE for Primary Studies students to enable them to keep connected with each other and the University during placements
